Open Practice at 500 Yds
FEE: $15 – To support ongoing range operations
As ALWAYS keep an eye on the weather and the Rifle Calendar for cancellations.
Shooting this time of year depends on the weather, serious weather such as moderate to heavy snow or ice storms will likely cause these to be cancelled so keep an Eye to the Sky and the Calendar! There is automatically a weather date – the next day. Committee Members help out when they can after any storms to keep the Pit area and the 500 yard line clean down to the grass, and of course NEW CLUB MEMBERS wanting hours are encouraged to lend a hand.
Open Rifle Practice will be pair fire (optional) or individual fire at @500yds. 10:00 AM Setup – Round Count is your choice. We expect some impromptu fun mini-matches and some challenge fun Matches. Still for non-competition shooters we’ll help you through it. This event is Open to the Public but only for rifles suitable for 500yd accurate shooting..
Pair Firing will be configured if attendance and interest dictates.
From Mid-now till to April muzzle brakes are allowed – Silencers are welcome – bring them if you have them.
