America’s Rifle Challenge Level 1 Training for Match Directors, RSO’s and RO’s

Location: LE Rifle Range.  More Information and videos

Bring an AR, 100 rounds of ammo, 4 magazines and a one or two point sling as well as regular safety gear (Eyes and Ears and Brimmed Hat – be aware there may be some shot fall from trap if he wind is strong). Don’t forget a note pad and hydration. A shooting mat, knee pads are not required (optional) but not a bad idea. Bring a tablet if you can.

Here is the info on The America’s Rifle Challenge. There are multiple links to good info/video of the format. We will of course offer training and practice sessions as well as hopefully a Match per month. Pretty basic requirements for Level 1 – Rifle, Sling and 4 magazines – a mat and knee pads are good extras to have.

This video is a good one on the format for the Level 1 Match

Here is another that has a series of Video’s on basic items that is done quite well.
This is a very good one in why “ARC” is a good thing and the additional links at the bottom of the page cover fundamentals really well.
